HN Italy 660; HGC 2 581; SNG ANS 694; Siciliano, Canosina, Group a. 6.19 g. 22.00 mm. RR. Glossy green brown patina. VF. As noted by Rutter in HN, the male head on the obverse is thought by some to be a portrait of Sicipio Africanus, who sought refuge at Canusium in 216 BC, but this is unsubstantiated.
