HN Italy 660; HGC 2 581; SNG ANS 694; Siciliano, Canosina, Group a. AE. 6.19 g. 22.00 mm. RR. Glossy green brown patina. VF. As noted by Rutter in HN, the male head on the obverse is thought by some to be a portrait of Sicipio Africanus, who sought refuge at Canusium in 216 BC, but this is unsubstantiated.
