Helmeted, diademed and cuirassed bust facing, holding spear and shield, ornamented with a horseman riding down enemy; christogram on cuirass. Rev. CONCORDI-A AVGGG. Constantinopolis enthroned facing, head right, holding sceptre and Victory on globe; her right foot on prow; in exergue, COMOB. RIC X 37. 4.43 g. 20.50 mm. RR. Nice example of this rare issue from Thessalonica. Brilliant and lightly toned; minor, almost invisible, nicks. Good VF.
