Exceptional Hadrian's Denarius
Hadrian (117-138). AR Denarius, Rome mint, 125-128 AD. Obv. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS. Laureate head right, with drapery on far shoulder. Rev. COS III. Veiled Pudicitia, standing left. RIC II 176. 3.40 g. 19.00 mm. An outstanding example, sharply struck from masterly engraved dies. A bold portrait of excellent style and an enchanting well detailed reverse. Lovely light tone, with golden highlights. Very rare as such. Good EF/About FDC.
