Calabria. Tarentum, Time of Cleonymus. Circa 302 BC. Third Stater (Gold, 13.30 mm, 2.85 g). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with a coiled serpent. Rev. Taras (?) holding trident and reins, driving biga prancing right; above and below, star and dolphin. Fischer-Bossert G67 (V54/R67). Vlasto 19 (same dies). HN Italy 953.
