Ex Jacquier 38, 09.2013, lot 249.
Small and pleasant obol of Faustina II, with her very recognisable portrait of "Augusta". It is very rare because is known by RPC IV.4.1810 in only three specimens, one of them is ours at no. 2, with the honour of being illustrated. The original bright black patina that covers the entire coin and highlights the reproduced images is remarkable.
