Another excellent and renowned drachm of the ever-present Caesar Marcus Aurelius with his proud and determined face. On reverse is the scene from the second of the three seasons linked to Egyptian agriculture, that of the sowing operated from the sky by the young Triptolemus on board a chariot drawn by two winged Agathodaemones serpents on behalf of the goddess Demeter, as we have already observed, under number 122 of the collection. Specimen cited by RPC IV.4.1298 under number 19.
