Tyche standing facing, head left, holding rudder and cornucopia; L IZ (date) to left. Geissen 1089. Dattari-Savio 1853. K&G 32.555 (this coin illustrated). RPC III, 5848. Emmett 1062. Highly realistic and splendid portrait, attractive reddish-brown patina. Nearly Extremely Fine. Extremely Rare. Ex Dr. George Brauer Collection (Numismatic Fine Arts Fall MBS, 12 October 1988), lot 864. Ex CNG 480, 11 November 2020, lot 439. Drachm with flan of particular thickness, well centred and of very good preservation. The bust of the emperor, always well reproduced, shows signs of senility but is realistic in his 17th year of reign (132-133 AD), not detected by Emmett, which makes this coin probably unique.
