L ΔЄ ΚΑΤΟΥ (date) around. Eirene draped standing facing, head turned to left, holding ears of grain in the right extended hand, caduceus and drapery on the left arm. Very much fascinating and of great preservation is this noble portrait of Adrian as a military leader. The reverse through the auspicious figure of Eirene, also designates him messenger of peace, quiet and prosperity.
