Biga of winged serpents right, with tails falling into exergue, carrying kalathos with grain ears; L IZ (date) above. Dattari-Savio 1103. RPC III, 4803.4 (this coin illustrates the type). The realistic bust of Trajan on the obverse is austere and imposing. The reverse scene is very similar to the auspicious image of that shown on nr. 56 of the collection. It has an original dark brown patina and an exceptional preservation despite some greenish porosity on reverse.
