Sicily. Syracuse. Agathokles. 317-289 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24.82 mm, 16.22 g) circa 310-305 BC. Head of Arethusa left, wearing reed wreath, triple-pendant earring and necklace, three dolphins swimming around; below neck, NK. Rev. Charioteer driving fast quadriga left, holding kentron and reins; above, triskeles; in exergue, ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΩΝ / AN monogram. Ierardi 41e (O8/R22) this coin. Bar issue 2. SNG Fitzwilliam 1329. .
