C. Licinius L.f. Macer. AR Denarius, 84 BC. Obv. Diademed and draped bust of Vejovis left turned from spectator, hurling thunderbolt. Rev. Minerva in quadriga right, C. LICINIVS L.F/[MACER] in exergue. Cr. 354/1; B. 16. AR. 3.80 g. 20.00 mm. A superb example, perfectly centred on a broad flan and prettily toned, with iridescent tone. Rare as such. Minor weakness in the exergue, otherwise. EF/ About EF.
