Pseudo Imperial coinage. AR Half Siliqua, in the name of Justinian. North-Italian mint (?). Obv. DN IVS[TI]-NIAN[VS ...]. Diademed and draped bust right. Rev. Staurogram on globe, on either side, star, all within wreath. MEC 1, 297 ; Cf. D.O. 339.2; Cf. MIBE 78; Cf. Sear 320; cf. Ranieri 361. AR. 0.72 g. 12.00 mm. RRR. Rare issue. Delicate patina with underlying luster. About EF/EF. The style, definitely dissimilar to the previous coin, leads us to attribute this specimen to a pseudo-imperial issue (Lombardic?).
