EGYPT. Antinoopolis. Circa 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Tessera (Lead, 21.80 mm, 3.83 g). Struck circa 130-144. Antinous (as Hermes) wearing clamys, holding caduceus with his right hand, on horseback right. Rev. Khnum (?) standing facing, head left, holding scepter and uncertain object; ram standing left at his feet. Wilding -; Dattari (Savio) 11711 (for obverse type); Koln 3584 (for obverse type); Milne 5418 (for similar reverse possibly depicting Khnum). Grey-brown patina with some light earthen deposits.
