SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos VIII Epiphanes (Grypos), 121/0-97/6 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27.40 mm, 16.26 g). Antioch on the Orontes, circa 109-96 BC. Diademed head of Antiochos VIII to right; around, fillet border. Rev. [Β]AΣΙΛE[ΩΣ] ΑNTIOXOY EΠIΦANOYΣ Zeus seated left on throne, holding Nike in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, monogram of PE above A; below throne, monogram Γ; above, thunderbolt; all within laurel wreath.
