Italy. Aghlabids, Ibrahim II ibn \'Ahmad (261-289 AH / 875-902 DC). PB Seal, 261 AH circulating in the southern Italy. Obv. “mimma amara bihi, al-amir Ibrahim , bin Ahmad'. Rev. 'sanat, Ihda wa sitt[iyn] , [wa] mi’atayyn' (year 1 and 60 and 200). Cf., Balog (1979), dated aghlabid lead and copper seals from Sicily, in «studi magrebini», 11, pp. 125-132; Cf. M.A. De Luca (2003), pp. 231-258; Cf. M.A. De Luca (2018) p. 5, n°1-2. PB. 4.14 g. 15.00 mm. RR. The common use of these seals is confirmed in South Italy and especially in Sicily.
