ROMA in monogram series. AR Quinarius, uncertain mint in South East Italy, c. 214 BC. Obv. Helmeted head of Roma right; behind, V. Rev. The Dioscuri galloping right; below, ROMA in monogram; in exergue, ROMA in linear frame. Cr. 84/2; RRSC Bq 15. AR. 2.23 g. 15.50 mm. RR. Sound metal, full weight and broad flan. Very rare and seldom offered. Insignificant scuff on obverse, superb and prettily toned. About EF.
