Athalaric standing facing, holding shield and spear; S-C/X in fields. COI 85a; MIB 77; MEC 1, 132. AE. 4.05 g. 16.5 mm. Superb example, in excellent conditions for issue. Lovely dark brown patina. Possibly the finest known example. EF.
