PHRYGIA. Apameia. Bronze (Bronze, 22.00 mm, 10.74 g) struck under the magistrates Phainippos and Drakontos, 133-48 BC. Bust of Athena right, wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with griffin and aegis. Rev. ΑΠΑΜ[ΕΩΝ] to upper field, [Φ]ΑΙΝΙΠΠ[ΟΥ] and [ΔΡΑΚΟΝΤΟΣ] in two lines in exergue (the second name out of flan). Eagle flying right on meander pattern, star above, caps of Dioskouroi, with star each above, flanking to left and right side.
