Seven-grained barley ear, with leaf to left; crab above leaf, ΑΡΧΙΓ below. HN Italy 1564; SNG ANS 411; Johnston A6. AR. 7.76 g. 22.00 mm. R. Rare and superb, perfectly centred and sharply struck, from masterly engraved dies. Brilliant and lightly toned. About EF. ΔΑΜΑΤΗΡ and ΑΡΧΙΓ probably refer to magistrates.
