D/ Bust of Christ Pantokrator facing, wearing nimbus cruciger, pallium and colobium and holding book of Gospels. R/ St. Demetrius, nimbate, standing right, holding sword and presenting labarum to Alexius standing facing, the emperor wears crown and loros, and graps shaft of labarum with right. D.O. 4; Sear 1904; B.M.C. 14 (Alexius III). R.-. g. 4.05 mm. 29.50 RRR. Extremely rare. Lightly toned with dark spots. Edge chipped and shallow hairline flan crack on obverse, otherwise VF/About EF.
